Our Purpose is to Make You
Suffering an injury or experiencing pain can be a significant setback for any individual. One of our missions at TMC is to empower you with the information and tools you need to make your rehab successful. Whether your injury is acute, chronic, operative or non-operative, we will create a specific plan to help you recover through each stage of healing. Emphasis will be placed on compliance of a home exercise program that will be updated as you progress through therapy.
Strength & Conditioning
At TMC, our goal is to get you back into your activity as quickly and as safely as possible. Following rehab, often times, patients have met certain goals but are not yet ready to get back into full recreational or sport activity. Our goal is to bridge the gap between rehab and high level performance. After completing a needs analysis of your sport or activity, we will determine which tissues need the most load capacity and we will teach you how to strengthen and set yourself up for a successful return to sport.
Chronic Pain Management
One of the specialties at TMC is working with individuals who are experiencing persistent: low back, knees, shoulders, neck, and ankle pain. Persistent, or chronic pain can be tricky and disabling for any individual and may lead to the use of unnecessary medications, injections, MRIs and surgeries. Our goal is to help prevent you from this cycle. Not all pain is bad. Pain is influenced by a variety of factors including our beliefs, stresses, habits, postures, fear, sleep and actual tissue injury. The questions is, once tissues are healed, why do we still experience pain? In some cases, the pain seems to get worse after tissues have healed! This type of pain can be a protective response of the body that is lingering a little longer than is necessary. Sometimes, the best thing for you is to get back into activity sooner rather than later. We will teach you if this approach is beneficial for you and we will get you back on track and on with your life without restriction!
